Catching up
It was a busy week at work last week, Daniel and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary this weekend, and we’re on vacation this week, so blogging hasn’t been high on the priority list lately. So here’s some catching up from the last few weeks:
First up, long awaited pics of my Justine skirt. The verdict on fit - it fits ok. A little big, and if I keep losing weight I’m not sure if I’ll be able to wear it. I need to get a black slip and try it on and see. Note that this project has been years in the making and I don’t think my gauge was consistent or right on so I blame myself for size issues, not the pattern.

Project Stats
Pattern: Justine Skirt by Jo Sharp in Book 3 - Holiday Island in size M
Yarn: Jo Sharp Soho Summer Dk Cotton in 225 Umber (I think 5 or 6 balls)
Needles: Addi Turbo 3.5mm and 3.75mm
For: me
Started: spring ‘04
Completed: Feburary 24, 2006
You may notice in the pic above that the waistband is a little wrinkled - here’s why:

When I finished the Knitting Olympics, I worked on a quick project - my second Texas Square for the LSSK project (details here).

I won’t get into the work details here, but stay tuned for what’s on the needles now and what I’ve been up to this week.
Also, I added subscription buttons for both Bloglines and Newsgator to my sidebar. If you sign up, it’ll let you know whenever I add a new entry. Please let me know if you have any problems with it.
